About Amy Gordon

Amy is the author of eleven books (and counting) for young and young-adult readers. She has had a 27-year career as drama teacher, director, and chair of the fine arts program at Bement School in Deerfield, Massachusetts. She has spent many years teaching writing and theater workshops for kids. She is currently working on a book about

Her first chapbook, Deep Fahrenheit, was published in 2019 (Prolific Press), and her poems have appeared in the Aurorean, The Massachusetts Review, Writeangles, and other journals. She is the author of numerous books for children and young adults. She lives in Gill, Massachusetts.
